CAUAYAN CITY-Five Agriculture students of Isabela State University-Cauayan Campus finished the “The Co-operation and Training for Students in Educational Project in Agriculture,” an international internship program conducted by “Agro-Studies” The International Centre for Agricultural Studies in partnership with Isabela State University held in Israel last October 06, 2019 to October 19, 2020.
The program comprised studies in the AgroStudies Center that consist of lectures, meetings with experts in various fields as well as practical training, the participants are housed in Farmstead and Agriculturist-Farmers were assigned as their tutors for the practical training based on their field of studies.Throughout the program, the participants are exposed to the various agricultural modern standards, methods and technologies, all in accordance to the syllabus.
There were five students from ISU-Cauayan who were given the chance to participate on the said internship namely, Mr. Jerome B. Alejandro, Mr. Ricky R. Antonio, Mr. Glenn Paul P. Bartolome, Mr. Ardy D. Duyagan and Mr. Marcelino M. Pera, all fourth-year BAT (Bachelor of Agricultural Technology) students.
Yesterday, October 14, four of the participants from ISU-CC together with the other participants from the other campuses had finally arrived here in the Philippines after a year of stay in Agro-Studies, Israel.
The participants will undergo all necessary health protocols upon arrival to ensure their safety from COVID-19 Pandemic while Mr. Alejandro will arrive on 23rd of October.
The AgroStudies is an organization that provides a program of advanced studies and training in various agricultural areas to foreign students coming from various countries. #
