
Isabela State UniversityโCauayan Campus bolstered its community partnership with Barangay District 1 through a strategic alliance for the Dur-as Festival 2025, a five-day celebration from June 25 to 29 in Cauayan City.
Anchored on the Ilocano term dur-as, meaning โto flourish,โ the collaboration aims to harness youth participation, civic engagement, and academic involvement in strengthening vital sectors such as education, agriculture, innovation, health, and culture.
Featuring cultural showcases, live performances, and interactive attractions, the festival emphasizes the importance of collective growth and shared responsibility. Barangay officials, led by Captain Marc A. De Joya, together with Councilors Ariel C. Calixto, Philip Jay G. Ordoรฑez, Reynaldo R. Mamaradlo, Reynaldo B. Aldana II, and City Councilor Garry G. Galutera, affirmed their commitment to advancing development through inclusive community partnerships.
