Uniting academic leaders and military officials to strengthen leadership, align policy implementation, and reinforce ROTCโ€™s role in national development, Isabela State University and the Philippine Army concluded the ROTC Administrators Seminar and Workshop at ISU Cauayan Campus, June 15.

The event gathered ROTC administrators, reservists, and university officials for the final leg of the seminar organized by the 202nd Community Defense Center, 2RCDG, RESCOM, PA. The program featured Prof. Dr. Boyet L. Batang, Isabela State University President, and Major General Gulliver L. Seรฑires, PA, Commander of the 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, as the keynote speaker.

Throughout the seminar, participants examined updated ROTC guidelines, shared administrative best practices, and explored new strategies for enhancing program efficiency and student involvement. The sessions emphasized the value of discipline, leadership, and patriotism in shaping future-ready citizens.

Also in attendance were Prof. Dr. Marisol S. Foronda, Executive Officer of ISU Cauayan Campus; Dr. Aquim D. Verzon, NSTP University Director; Col. Monib T. Mamao, PA, Group Commander of the 2nd Regional Community Defense Group; and Col. Bernard T. Ragus, PA, Director of the 202nd Community Defense Center, along with other campus and military officials. The collaboration between the academe and the armed forces reaffirmed their shared commitment to youth development and national service.
