Isabela State University–Cauayan Campus continues to cement its leadership in legal education as Kalinga State University conducted a benchmarking visit on May 29, 2025, to learn from ISU’s Bar Operations system. Known for its well-organized fund policies, transparent allocation, and strong student engagement, ISU-Cauayan’s BarOps model has become a regional benchmark. The visit affirms ISU’s growing reputation as a pacesetter in bar preparation support and institutional innovation.

The Kalinga State University delegation included Dr. Marcelino K. Wacas, Dean; Atty. Brandon B. Dangatag, Program Chair; Ms. Kaeryn-Faith N. Gumsingan, Administrative Aide VI; and Mr. Meyer Prestoza, General Services Director. Leading the engagement from ISU was Mr. Narsal Foronda, College Secretary of the College of Law, who shared on fund management and operational best practices.
