𝐈𝐒𝐔 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐒𝐔𝐂 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐂 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 | ISABELA STATE UNIVERSITY

In a move that reinforces its initiative for transformative leadership and innovation in higher education, key officials from Isabela State University–Cauayan Campus participated in the 2025 PASUC Midterm Convention and General Assembly held at the SMX Convention Center Manila, July 9–11.

The university delegation, led by Prof. Dr. Boyet L. Batang, ISU President, was joined by key campus administrators from ISU–Cauayan, reaffirming the campus’ support for institutional growth and participation in the broader academic community. Among those present were Prof. Dr. Marisol S. Foronda, Acting Executive Officer; Prof. Dr. Liezl Joy L. Quilang, Acting Academic Affairs Director; Dr. Arnold T. Pascua, Planning and Development Director; and Assoc. Prof. Ryan P. Salviejo, External Affairs, Public Relations and International Linkages Director, representing ISU Cauayan’s voice in shaping the future of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the Philippines.

This year’s convention, themed “Forging the Future: Empowering SUCs through Innovation, Sustainability, and Excellence,” provided a platform for university leaders, stakeholders, and development partners to discuss strategic policies and forward-looking programs.

Throughout the three-day gathering, participants engaged in key dialogues centered on strategic investments, digital transformation, human capital development, sustainability and global competitiveness, innovation, research collaboration, and transformational governance, all of which are vital in equipping SUCs to meet both local and global demands.
