The Cauayan Cluster of Isabela State University spearheaded a comprehensive Extension Proposal Review for 2026 funding at the ISU Cauayan Campus Hostel, November 25.

The activity convened faculty extensionists, directors, and expert evaluators from the participating campuses of Cauayan, Roxas, and San Mateo to scrutinize, refine, and elevate proposed community development initiatives. It highlighted the universityโ€™s push for proposals that demonstrate clear community relevance, strong sustainability plans, and innovative strategies that respond to emerging needs. It also underscored the importance of cohesive, cluster-wide efforts to ensure that all 2026 initiatives remain strategic, evidence-based, and capable of generating long-term benefits for partner communities.

Directors Dr. Jenalyn Andres of ETSโ€“San Mateo and Dr. Janet Cunanan of ETSโ€“Roxas led the introduction of participants and evaluators. The review proper mobilized moderators and facilitators who guided the presentations and ensured a thorough appraisal of each proposal.

The session was further elevated by the participation of distinguished evaluators, Prof. Dr. Irma T. Plata and Prof. Dr. Diosdado Caรฑete, who provided expert insights and constructive recommendations to strengthen the proposals.
