The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the Philippine Army’s 202nd Community Defense Center of the 2nd Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, led the 8th RESCOM PA–Wide Simultaneous Blood Donation Activity as part of the celebration of the 98th AFP Founding Anniversary at Isabela State University (ISU) Cauayan Campus, December 14.

As a key institutional partner, ISU Cauayan advanced the AFP-led humanitarian mission by integrating the blood donation drive into its broader mandate for civic engagement, leadership formation, and national service. Beyond serving as a host venue, the campus activated its ROTC and NSTP framework as a platform for disciplined volunteerism, aligning academic training with real-world service in support of national defense and public health objectives. The activity, conducted in coordination with the 202nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion, sought to reinforce the availability of safe and sufficient blood for partner blood banks.
