Isabela State Universityโ€“Cauayan Campus has been granted a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), authorizing the institution to operate the Bachelor of Science in Food Technology program beginning Academic Year 2026โ€“2027.

The approval, issued as COPC No. 028, Series of 2025, was conferred in accordance with Republic Act No. 7722, also known as the Higher Education Act of 1994, and CHED Memorandum Order No. 07, Series of 2019, which outlines the policies, standards, and guidelines for the BS Food Technology program. The certification confirms that the campus has met the prescribed minimum requirements set by CHED for the offering of the degree program.

The approval highlights ISU Cauayanโ€™s institutional growth, as it signifies its efforts to diversify academic offerings and contribute meaningfully to food science education, research, and human resource development.
