In a deliberate effort to synchronize institutional initiatives with local development priorities, Isabela State Universityโ€“Cauayan Campus engaged in a strategic New Yearโ€™s consultation with Hon. Joseph Christian โ€œNiรฑoโ€ G. Uy, Municipal Mayor of Aurora, January 21.

The meeting convened key campus leaders, including Prof. Dr. Marisol S. Foronda, Executive Officer, along with directors, deans, and heads of various units and the SSC President, to chart the universityโ€™s operational and extension plans for the year.

During the consultation, ISUโ€“Cauayan presented an extensive portfolio of prospective extension and training programs designed to fortify community engagement and respond to emerging regional needs. The dialogue served as a platform for both municipal and academic leadership to harmonize objectives, ensuring that upcoming initiatives are both impactful and sustainable.

A major announcement highlighted in the session was the launch of the Bachelor of Science in Food Technology program in Aurora, scheduled for the first semester of the next academic year. This pioneering academic expansion highlights ISUโ€“Cauayanโ€™s initiative to cultivate specialized expertise, address workforce demands, and elevate regional educational opportunities.
