Isabela State University (ISU) Cauayan Campus recognized partner agencies, board examination topnotchers, alumni, faculty members, researchers, extension workers, and employees during the Araw ng Parangal held as part of the university’s 48th Founding Anniversary celebration, June 9.
Among those honored were the Local Government Unit of Cauayan City, the Local Government Unit of Aurora, the Department of Science and Technology Region II, the Department of Trade and Industry Region II, the Department of Information and Communications Technology Region II, and the Katipunan ng Liping Pilipina Nasyonal, Inc. for their partnership with the university in various academic, research, extension, and development initiatives.
The campus also honored LEPT National Topnotchers Mikaela Lagunoy Laureano and Jonabhel Velazco Nuez for their performance in the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).
Atty. Paul Vincent R. Mauricio received the Campus Outstanding Alumnus Award, while Assoc. Prof. Regine M. Manzanillo, PhD; Asst. Prof. Mark-Jhon R. Prestoza, PhD; Assoc. Prof. Rose Mary A. Velasco, DIT; and Ms. Marlyn G. Subido received the Campus Outstanding Extensionist, Campus Outstanding Researcher, Campus Outstanding Faculty, and Campus Outstanding Employee awards, respectively.
The university likewise conferred Loyalty Awards on faculty and staff members who have served the institution for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 40 years.
In addition, ISU Cauayan recognized performing extensionists for implementing community-based programs in agriculture, education, livelihood, technology transfer, women empowerment, and public welfare. The university also honored researchers who published in Scopus-indexed and Web of Science journals, secured utility models, and obtained external research grants.
Awards were likewise presented to performing faculty members, Student Affairs and Services practitioners, and employees for their contributions to academic delivery, student development, and campus operations.
The Araw ng Parangal formed part of the university’s 48th Founding Anniversary celebration, which carried the theme “DALOY: Driving Academic Legacy through Outward-Looking and Yielding Innovations.” Through the recognition program, the campus acknowledged the accomplishments and service of individuals and organizations that continue to contribute to the attainment of the university’s mandate.
