Anchored in its role as an academic steward of civic and historical consciousness, the Isabela State University (ISU) Cauayan Campus joined the 128th Philippine Independence Day Celebration at the Cauayan City Hall, June 12.
The observance, themed โKalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan,โ gathered representatives from government institutions, academic organizations, and civic groups in a unified commemoration of Philippine independence.
Representing the campus were Prof. Freddie R. Cabrera, PhD, University Director for Socio-Cultural Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Ryan P. Salviejo, Director for Public Relations, External Linkages, and International Affairs; Prof. Donabel A. Dumelod, EdD, Dean of the College of Education; Assoc. Prof. Arnold T. Pascua, PhD, Director for Planning and Development; Assoc. Prof. Paul Angelo A. Tamayo, PhD, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; and Mr. Alvin V. Modales, Student Organizations Coordinator.
As the nation observed another year of independence, ISU sustained its efforts to promote historical consciousness while advancing initiatives that link education, public service, and community development.
