Committed to excellence and continuous institutional enhancement, Isabela State University Cauayan Campus initiated a two-day Internal Quality Audit (IQA), mobilizing academic leaders, internal auditors, and unit representatives to assess, refine, and elevate the campus’ systems and processes, December 4–5.

The opening program featured the message of Prof. Dr. Marisol S. Foronda, Executive Officer, who grounded the activity in ISU’s vision as a transformative state university. She highlighted the importance of alignment, accountability, and unity in sustaining robust quality assurance mechanisms.

To further contextualize the undertaking, Prof. Dr. Liezl Joy L. Quilang, Director for Academic Affairs, articulated the purpose and direction of the audit. Dr. Quilang emphasized its role in advancing continuous quality enhancement and ensuring that academic and administrative units operate with coherence, integrity, and forward-looking strategies.

Moreover, the audit proper began as internal auditors and concerned units proceeded to their respective venues. Throughout the two-day evaluation, auditors are examining unit accomplishments, compliance with standards, documentation systems, and alignment with institutional goals.

As Day 2 unfolds, the Internal Quality Audit 2025 continues to serve as a vital platform for reflection, accountability, and evidence-based improvement across the campus. Insights emerging from the ongoing audit are expected to inform refinements in policies, operations, and service delivery.
