The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recognized Isabela State UniversityโCauayan for its exceptional performance and proactive engagement, awarding the campus multiple commendations during the CHED Region II Regional Executive Conference, Engagement, and Collaboration (REConEC) held at St. Paul University Philippines in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, December 9.
The recognition highlighted ISU Cauayanโs outstanding performance in licensure examinations. The campus excelled in the February 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination with an impressive average rating of 88.72% and dominated the March 2025 Elementary Teacher Licensure Examination, achieving a remarkable 91.95% average. These results placed the university among the top-performing higher education institutions in Region II, as released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
In addition to its licensure examination achievements, ISU Cauayan earned accolades for its exemplary responsiveness and efficient handling of urgent data requirements requested by CHED Regional Office II.
These accomplishments were made possible under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Marisol S. Foronda, Executive Officer; Dr. Harvey T. Alejandro, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE); and Prof. Dr. Donabel A. Dumelod, Dean of the College of Education (CEd), whose leadership continues to drive the campus’ success.
