Political Science alumni returned to ISU Cauayan to celebrate their professional achievements and contributions to governance, public service, and community leadership at the School of Arts and Sciences’ inaugural Alumni Homecoming held at the Food Laboratory Building, December 20.

Under the theme โ€œBridging Generations, Building Legacies,โ€ the event brought together graduates from Batch 2007 to 2024. The program commenced with a greeting from Prof. Dr. Marisol S. Foronda, represented by Prof. Dr. Jonathan Lord R. Aquino, Office of Student Affairs and Services Director, heralding a day of tribute and contemplation. Dr. Paul Angelo A. Tamayo, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, followed with a presentation that showcased the alumniโ€™s achievements, tracing their journeys from campus life to careers that have made an impact on local and national communities.

Former faculty members shared reflections and encouragement. Speakers included Dr. Troy Alexander G. Miano, Regional Director of the Department of Tourism, Region 2; Dr. Edgar A. Galapon, retired Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences; and Atty. Gil Viloria, District Public Attorney of Cauayan City. Their remarks emphasized the enduring impact of mentorship and the values instilled by the political science program.

The event also bridged generations, giving alumni the opportunity to exchange experiences, expand professional networks, and encourage the next wave of graduates. Participants left inspired to make a lasting impact on their communities and uphold the legacy of ISU Cauayanโ€™s Political Science program.
