A high-level dialogue between Isabela State University–Cauayan Campus leaders and Cauayan City Mayor Hon. Caesar “Jaycee” S. Dy Jr. signaled a decisive step toward synchronizing local governance priorities with academic initiatives anchored on innovation and public engagement, January 13.

The meeting tackled the convergence of the city’s forward-looking development agenda and the university’s thrusts in socio-cultural advancement and athletics, with particular attention given to the strategic access to local government facilities for a forthcoming university meet. The discussion highlighted the role of shared infrastructure in broadening student participation and elevating large-scale academic and extracurricular undertakings.

Participating on behalf of ISU–Cauayan Campus were Prof. Dr. Marisol S. Foronda, Executive Officer; Prof. Dr. Freddie R. Cabrera, University Director for Socio-Cultural Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Ryan P.
