Isabela State University–Cauayan Campus moved to modernize its internal operations as key officials convened to advance the rollout of the ISU eTravel System, a centralized platform designed to streamline and digitize all official travel processes, March 31.

The meeting gathered key administrators, including Prof. Marisol S. Foronda, PhD, Executive Officer; Assoc. Prof. Ryan P. Salviejo, Director for External Affairs, Public Relations, and International Linkages; Assoc. Prof. Arnold T. Pascua, PhD, Director for Planning and Development; and Ms. Maricon Concepcion Santos, Budget Officer, who reviewed the system’s features and finalized preparations for its pilot testing scheduled next month.

Developed by the campus Management Information Systems (MIS) team led by Asst. Prof. Jayson S. Liquigan, MIS director, the ISU eTravel System introduces a fully web-based workflow that replaces traditional paper-based travel requests. Through its core capabilities, paperless travel orders, integrated vehicle dispatch, real-time tracking, and automated liquidation, the system is expected to significantly reduce processing time while enhancing transparency and accountability.

Officials highlighted that the initiative goes beyond automation, positioning the campus toward a more responsive and sustainable digital environment. The system efficiently manages travel requests, approvals, and financial clearances from start to finish by connecting offices through a unified platform.

With pilot implementation set to begin soon, the campus signals a strong push toward digital transformation.
