Ricky Sinfuego Jr., a Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) major in Filipino from Isabela State University—Cauayan Campus College of Education, secured a bronze medal in the recently concluded 3rd National Teacher Education Quiz Bee organized by Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC), April 27.

The virtual competition was held at the CBRC Isabela Building, Molave Street, Minante 1, Cauayan City, Isabela. It convened teacher education students from various institutions across the province and other participating schools to evaluate academic competence in the field of education.

Sinfuego trained under Assoc. Prof. Ariane Milagrosa T. Pantaleon, PhD, BSEd Program Chair, who guided him throughout the preparation for both the provincial qualifying stage and the national round.

The quiz bee highlighted academic readiness among future educators and underlined the role of rigorous training and institutional support in developing competence in teacher education.
