Isabela State University (ISU) President Prof. Boyet L. Batang, PhD, led the university’s engagement with Hon. Faustino Michael Carlos T. Dy III, representative of Isabela’s 5th Congressional District, during a courtesy visit, joined by ISU-Cauayan Campus Executive Officer Prof. Marisol S. Foronda, PhD, the campus directors, and Asst. Prof. Cipriano M. Ticman, PhD, Jr., Campus Coordinator of the Aurora Extension Unit, to discuss academic initiatives and potential areas of collaboration, September 18.

The meeting provided a venue for university and campus officials to present key areas of institutional interest and discuss possible partnerships that could support ISU’s academic programs and stakeholders.

Led by Dr. Batang, the delegation engaged Cong. Dy on opportunities for cooperation in higher education and other areas of mutual institutional interest, with discussions focused on initiatives that could respond to the needs of the university.

During the engagement, Cong. Dy also provided immediate assistance for the urgent procurement of chairs for the ISU-Cauayan Campus Aurora Extension Unit, addressing an identified need at the site.

The meeting further strengthened coordination between ISU and public-sector stakeholders, opening avenues for collaboration that can support the university’s academic priorities and campus development initiatives.

The engagement was also attended by representatives of ISU-Roxas Campus, further reflecting the university-wide participation in the institutional dialogue.
