The Isabela State University (ISU)–Cauayan Campus co-organizes the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Solutions in Engineering, Science, Health, Education, and Technology (ICSS-ESHET 2026), convening scholars, professionals, researchers, and development practitioners from the Philippines and abroad, September 23–25.

Held in partnership with ISU–Ilagan and the City Government of Ilagan, the three-day hybrid conference carries the theme “Integrated Sustainable Systems: Advancing Global Sustainability Through Multidisciplinary Innovation Across Disciplines.” It calls diverse academic and professional communities to exchange research, innovations, and practices that address pressing challenges in sustainability.

As a co-organizer, ISU–Cauayan helps drive the conference’s multidisciplinary agenda, extending collaboration across engineering, science, health, education, technology, arts and architecture, criminology and legal justice, and extension. The campus also contributes personnel to the conference leadership and organizing committees, strengthening its role in shaping the event’s academic and institutional program.

ICSS-ESHET 2026 spotlights emerging solutions in areas including artificial intelligence, renewable energy, public health, digital education, sustainable agriculture, environmental technologies, human rights, and community development. Through keynote addresses, invited presentations, research paper sessions, and best-practice sharing, the conference connects scholarship with applications that can inform policy, technology, education, and community interventions.

The gathering further bridges universities, government institutions, industry, communities, and other development stakeholders, creating opportunities to establish research collaborations, strengthen extension partnerships, and translate academic work into practical solutions. The hybrid format also widens access to international participation, allowing delegates to engage with the conference both on site and online.

Through its co-organizing role, ISU–Cauayan contributes to an international platform that mobilizes research, innovation, and extension toward integrated and context-responsive solutions for sustainable development.
